Game Jam

Congratulations to our students from the BTS Game Programming and Game Design (B1GP, B2GP) and the BTS Game Art and Game Design (B1AG, B2AG) from Lycée des Arts et Métiers as well as our BTS alumni, who participated in this year’s “Game Jam” at Neimënster (March 14th – March 16th)! 🎉

For the past seven years, our two BTS have organised annual “Game Jam” events here in Luxembourg. For the past three years, the competition has been held as part of the LuxFilmfestival at the Virtual Reality Pavilion at Neimënster, the Cultural Centre of the Abbey of Neumënster. This exciting event is a hackathon where passionate game developers come together to create a video game from scratch in just 48 hours.

Over an intense weekend, these talented students developed innovative games, showcasing their creativity, technical skills, and teamwork under pressure. They embraced the challenge of working with a tight deadline, balancing complex coding with the design of immersive worlds and engaging experiences.

The event was a true test of their abilities, pushing them to think outside the box while staying true to the theme “Immersion.”
