BTS Game Art and Game Design attempted the IMMERSIVE DAYS 2025
LAM @ the Immersive Days 2025
To mark the 15th anniversary of the Luxembourg City Film Festival and the 35th anniversary of the Film Fund Luxembourg, the Immersive Pavilion 2025 (formerly the VR Pavilion) will take place from 6 to 23 March 2025 at Neimënster in Luxembourg-Grund. This new edition highlights the evolution of immersive arts and the technologies shaping this rapidly growing field. The event is convened by Myriam Achard (Chief for New Media Partnerships and PR, PHI Montréal) and Guy Daleiden (CEO, Film Fund Luxembourg).
New this year: A section of the Immersive Pavilion will extend to the Cercle Cité Ratskeller, where the exhibition Between Reflections and Immersion will be on display from 7 February to 6 April 2025.
Students from the BTS Game Art and Game Design (B1AG and B2AG) classes at Lycée des Arts et Métiers, accompanied by their teacher Françoise Ahlborn, had the unique opportunity to participate in Immersive Days. This event brought together experts, professionals, and artists from around the world to explore the rise of immersive art in cultural institutions and its evolution alongside AI. This experience allowed them to meet internationally renowned specialists and examine the current and future challenges of immersive art and artificial intelligence in the cultural sector.
Additionally, the newly founded Luxembourg Video Game Association (LVGA) will showcase video games developed in Luxembourg, which visitors will have the chance to try out.
