BTS B2 Game Art and Game Design @ Tartu 2024
5 students from the BTS B2 Game Art and Game Design are thrilled to be in Tartu, Estonia, this week as part of an exciting European pedagogical journey. Tartu, a vibrant city and the European Capital of Culture for 2024, is Estonia’s second-largest city, with a population of around 100,000.
Thanks to WIDE and co Luxembourg, we are honored to participate in this Erasmus+ project, which centers on the fascinating intersection of ART and AI. We have the pleasure to be collaborating with around 20 students from Poland, Greece, and Estonia, forming a wonderfully diverse group eager to learn and create together.
The focus of the activities is on the exploration of the future of art shaped by artificial intelligence.
Throughout the week, they’ll be immersed in various activities: engaging with fellow art students from across Europe, exploring Tartu’s rich cultural scene (including a street art tour), attending lectures at the University of Tartu and many other activities.
They have participated in a workshop on Art and AI, where the LAM Team was excited to contribute. Among other goals, they practice critical thinking skills, they will work in mixed teams to explore and create around the themes of Art and AI, within the broader context of Tartu 2024’s theme “Arts of Survival.”
This marks the start of a week filled with inspiration, learning, and creativity, as these students navigate and shape their paths in an AI-augmented world.
