Congratulations to our students from the BTS Game Programming and Game Design (B1GP, B2GP) and the BTS Game Art and Game Design (B1AG, B2AG) at Lycée des Arts et Métiers, as well as our BTS alumni, who participated in this year’s Game Jam at Neimënster! 🎉

The competition was held as part of the LuxFilmFestival, at the Virtual Reality Pavilion in Neimënster, the Cultural Centre of the Abbey of Neumünster. This exciting event started on Friday the 13th and took the form of a hackathon where passionate game developers came together to create a video game from scratch in just 48 hours. Fittingly, the theme of this year’s hackathon was “Friday the 13th.”

Over an intense weekend, these talented students developed innovative games, showcasing their creativity, technical skills, and teamwork under pressure. They embraced the challenge of working with a tight deadline, balancing complex programming with the design of worlds and engaging gameplay experiences. The event was a true test of their abilities, pushing them to think outside the box while staying true to the theme.

On Sunday the 15th, they had the unique opportunity to present their creations to a distinguished jury composed of Brice Clocher, Joe Hoffmann, Daniel Klautsch, Ké Medley, Sébastien Tasch and David Winter.

Bravo to the winning teams with their video games featuring the original titles: “Don’t Jinx It”, “Purring Rain” and “One More Pill”. 👏

Well done to everyone involved for creating incredible games and for their dedication and hard work! 🌟
A special thank you to their teachers, the LuxFilmFund, the LuxFilmFestival, and the Cultural Centre of the Abbey of Neumünster for supporting this inspiring event.
