Apéro pédagogique – BTS Programmes at the LAM

On 28 November, the Congrégation campus hosted an Apéro pédagogique, giving staff from the LAM the opportunity to learn more about the wide range of BTS programmes offered by our school. In a relaxed and informal setting, participants were able to move through different classrooms, discover the content of each programme, and get to know the Congrégation campus.

The LAM currently offers 10 BTS programmes, with eight located at the Congrégation campus and two at the Limpertsberg campus.

The BTS programmes based at Limpertsberg are:
• BTS Dessin d’animation
• BTS Cinéma et audiovisuel

The remaining programmes are offered at the Congrégation campus:
• BTS Connected Buildings and Cities
• BTS Génie technique
• BTS Game Art and Game Design
• BTS Game Programming and Game Design
• BTS Informatique
• BTS Réalisateur graphique
• BTS Applied Artificial Intelligence
• BTS Internet of Things

Since 1990, the LTAM has been an important provider of BTS programmes, starting with the BTS Dessin d’animation. In 2001, the BTS Réalisateur graphique (formerly BTS Opérateur prépresse) was added. The development of the BTS offer accelerated with the introduction of the 2009 BTS law, which integrated BTS programmes into the Bologna Process. As a result, each programme now carries 120 ECTS credits.

The Apéro pédagogique provided a valuable moment for teachers and staff to gain an overview of the school’s BTS offer and to exchange with colleagues across departments, highlighting the diversity and evolution of higher technical education at the LAM.
