The launch of the Luxembourg Video Game Association marks an important milestone for the country’s growing gaming and interactive media ecosystem. Bringing together developers, educators, students, and industry partners, the association sets the stage for stronger collaboration, increased visibility, and new opportunities within Luxembourg’s video game sector.
The Lycée des Arts et Métiers, which for years has been actively involved in shaping the next generation of game creators, is a part of the growing gaming community. The school offers two BTS programmes that respond directly to the industry’s evolving needs:
• BTS Game Programming & Game Design
• BTS Game Art & Game Design
These programmes provide students with the technical, artistic, and creative foundations required for modern game development. Through hands-on projects, interdisciplinary teamwork, and industry-oriented learning, students gain valuable experience that prepares them for careers in programming, art, design, and digital production.
Beyond formal education, our students are also active participants in national gaming events such as game jams, the Luxembourg Games Expo, and other initiatives that showcase the dynamism and enthusiasm of Luxembourg’s emerging talent.
The newly founded Luxembourg Video Game Association promises to reinforce our efforts by creating a unified platform that can accelerate the growth of the sector. We congratulate the association on this important step and look forward to continuing our collaboration to strengthen Luxembourg’s creative and digital industries.
