BTS Game Art & Game Design – First Year in Action

What happens when imagination meets observation?

In their first year, students of the BTS Game Art and Game Design work on an exercise called “Incomplete.” The concept is simple—but demanding:
they start from a photograph taken from a magazine, tear away part of the image, and then rebuild the missing half through their own artistic vision.

To succeed, students must:
– Analyze perspective, proportions, and lighting from the original photo
– Understand existing visual structures and composition
– Extend the scene with original creative elements while staying visually coherent

This exercise perfectly reflects the spirit of the BTS:
strong fundamentals, critical observation, and creative freedom—essential skills for careers in game art, level design, concept art, and digital creation.

If you are 18+, passionate about drawing, visual storytelling, and game worlds—and want to turn creativity into a professional path – this program might be for you.
